Event information: Metro League #2 Manly Vale

Location: Manly Vale Public School, corner of Sunshine and Gibbs St Manly Vale.

For this event COVID-safety conditions will apply. These are shown in the attached information flyer which must be read and acknowledged before entry is accepted. Please recheck immediately before the event as the safety instructions may change.
Social distancing must be maintained at all times. Please keep your time at the event to a minimum.

You must not attend if you are unwell or meet any of the criteria for self-isolation identified by Health NSW.
There will be a restricted start window from 9:00am to 10:00am. Vulnerable individuals (70 and over, those with a concurrent medical condition, carers for or a household contact of a vulnerable person, those with limited access to medical care, etc) can start at any time in this window. Normal Metro League starts will be from 10:00am. Non-metro League competitors can start any time after 10:00am that there is a free slot in their Division, or after the Metro League competitors. Starts close at 11:30am. Course closure is 12:30m.

IOF control descriptions will be on the maps. IOF control descriptions for all Divs and text control descriptions for Divs 4 to 6 will be available here for downloading and printing at least 24 hours before the event.

SI-Air+ will be enabled for all field controls. However, both the Start and Finish must be physically dipped.

Div 1, 5.6km, 130m
Div 2, 4.7km, 140m
Div 3, 4.0km, 135m
Div 4, 3.2km, 100m
Div 5, 3.0km, 90m
Div 6, 2.0km, 50m
Score 45 min 15 controls, 10 pts per control, 1 point loss for each minute late, with a mixture of very easy, easy, and moderate controls. It is recommended that younger competitors are accompanied.
Div 1-6 maps are at 1:7,500 and are printed on Pretex waterproof paper. Score event map is 1:5,000

Maps are limited. If there is a shortage of maps, Metro League teams take precedence and non-team competitors may need to move to a different Division. See additional briefing notes.

Adults: $12, Juniors: $8, Non-members: +$4, SI Stick Hire: +$4.

All attendees at the event must register online, even if not participating; choose the “Does not participate” class (not the "Does not compete" class).
If running as a Group, the Group Leader should add the word Group after their surname; all other members choose the “Group Members” class. Active Kids participants should also select the Active Kids Service.

You will only need to visit the Registration Desk at the event to:
- Pick up a rental stick
- Have your Active Kids card stamped
Otherwise you can just turn up and start at the appropriate time.

Beware of mountain bike riders around the Manly Dam MTB track.
Route choices through green will generally be much slower than those following tracks or clearings.
There may be new unmapped mountain bike tracks on the course
