Event information: Melbourne City Race Prologue, Cremorne

This event will be an urban race as a warmup to the Melbourne City Race, in the historic inner eastern riverside suburb of Cremorne.

Please read the Competitor Information before participating. Last update: 15 April 2021.

Choose any of the three Line courses, and start any time between 2pm and 3pm. Sportident will be used in AIR mode.

Final course lengths:
Course 1 (Long Hard) - 5 km
Course 2 (Medium Hard) - 4 km
Course 3 (Short Easy) - 2.4 km

Control descriptions: will be printed on maps, and available at the event from Registration.

Final results and splits will be posted on Eventor and Winsplits immediately afterwards.

Entry fees: $8 Adults, $4 Juniors. Online entry is now CLOSED, but you may enter on the day, subject to map availability.

Arena: Barkly Gardens, Richmond. Toilets available. Please BYO drinking water.

Directions: we strongly recommend leaving the car at home, as parking in the vicinity is very limited. Take the train or tram, or ride your bike.
Public transport: Richmond and Burnley railway stations are each a 15 minute walk from the arena. Tram 70 (east-west along Swan Street) or Tram 78 (north-south along Church Street) have stops within a few minutes walk.

On arrival: all attendees must scan a QR code to check in at Registration. This includes non competing attendees.

This event will operate under Orienteering Victoria's Covid Safe Plan. Please do not attend if you are unwell with Covid symptoms, are waiting for test results, or have been instructed to isolate or quarantine. Refer www.vicorienteering.asn.au/return-to-orienteering
