Event information: 'Nature Festival: Orienteering in the Parklands'

This event is part of the Nature Festival 2020

Start times between 11:00am-12:30pm and course closure at 1:30pm.

There are four courses available, plus a 'String Course' next to the assembly area for younger children.
The navigation difficulty and distances for the courses are as below:
• Course 1: Hard + Sprint - 3.4km
• Course 2: Hard - 2.7km
• Course 3: Moderate - 2.1km
• Course 4: Easy - 1.7km

Between 12- 1pm there will be a nearby coffee cart and BYO picnic lunch in conjunction with the 'Intriguing Trail' Nature Festival event. Feel free to stay after your run and join in with the picnic in the park. At 1:00pm there will be a tree planting ceremony with a historical twist: a visit from a horse and carriage, so stick around if you wish to join in! There will also be orienteering activities for kids around the assembly area.
