Cyclones Sprint #3: Wirra Wirra

Long (2.6km), Short (2.2km), Easy (1.5km), Very Easy (1.2km)

Starts: 4 - 5pm

Cost: $10 senior, $6 junior, $25 families

Areas of highly complex multi-level terrain, parkland and typical school campus orienteering.

NOTE ALL COURSES CROSS QUIET STREETS AT LEAST ONCE. SUGGESTED CROSSING POINTS INDICATED, BUT NOT MANDATORY. PLEASE SUPERVISE YOUNGER CHILDREN.

Parking available on Wirra Wirra St and surrounding streets. Assembly area is at the Toowoomba Anglican School grandstand, western side of Wirra Wirra St. 100m walk to the start. Toilets available in Webb Park, approx. 100 m from start and 200m from assembly area. Drinking fountains are available for water.

Beginners are welcome, with experienced orienteers available to provide advice. Come and try sprint orienteering on a high-quality sprint map, last used for a major event at the 2015 QLD Sprint Champs.
