Export to calendar Back

Woodlands Historic Park, Somerton Road, Greenvale. Toilets available.

There are commercial Horse Rides operating in the Park. You must SLOW TO A WALK if you come within 50m of any horses, and you must stay AT LEAST 20m from horses AT ALL TIMES. These are inexperienced riders, moving slowly in groups. Never approach a horse from behind.

Orienteering is a naturally "isolated" sport, so come along and learn the ropes, enjoy the competition and the outdoor environment! When you do find yourself close to others, please respect and follow rules for physical distancing, mask wearing and hygiene. Everyone is very welcome, and courses are available to suit all abilities from beginner to experienced.

Choose any of the five courses: Course 1 (Long Hard - 7.3 km); Course 2 (Medium Hard - 4.8 km); Course 3 (Short Hard - approx 3.5 km); Course 4 (Moderate - approx 4 km) or Course 5 (Easy - approx 2.5-3 km).
Coaching and assistance is available for newcomers.

This event will follow the Orienteering Victoria Covid Safe Plan: www.vicorienteering.asn.au/return-to-orienteering. Please read the OV Participant Guidelines before entering this event.
