Event information: MTBO 6 Lake Leschenaultia WA Middle Distance Championships

Export to calendar Back

Come to Lake Leschenaultia to enjoy mostly gently undulating terrain. Each course traverses bushland and a lakeside section, mostly on fire breaks but with some single track too. Runners are welcome to participate as well.

1. Keep to the tracks (this is an MTBO rule anyway).
2. Clean footwear and bike (especially tyres) prior to coming to the event (bring a dustpan brush).
3. At the start you will be required to spray your tyres with the provided methylated spirits.

Directions to the event: From the intersection of Roe Highway and Great Eastern Highway, drive ~24km east, then turn left into Old Northam Road. Drive 2.1km. At the roundabout take the first exit (left) onto Thomas Road. After ~350m turn right just past the Post Office onto Rosedale Road. Drive 2.2km then turn left into Lake Leschenautia and then turn right, drive ~350m and arrive at the event centre in the parking area on the west side of the lake.
