Event information: Saturday Orienteering Series #4 - Castle Hill Showground and Fred Caterson Reserve, Castle Hill
The Saturday Orienteering Series is open to all budding orienteers! No experience is necessary and courses are ideal for students wishing to learn and improve their navigation skills. Both beginners and experienced orienteers are very welcome! Students, mums, dads, uncles, aunts, friends, grandparents: everyone is welcome to participate. Venue: Castle Hill Showground and Fred Caterson Reserve (assembly is in the Showground, enter off Showground Rd), Castle Hill. At most events, 3 different courses are available to choose between. These are a score course, short line course (approx 2.5-3km) and long line course (approx 4-5km). Registration is from 9am and starts are any time between 9.30am and 11am. We encourage those heading out on the score course to start as a group at 9.30am but later starts are also welcome. Entry at the event. Entry costs are $10 for members with their own SPORTident sticks or $15 for non-members or those hiring SI sticks. Exact money is appreciated please. If groups of more than 5 are attending we would be grateful if you contact Barbara in advance so that we can be sure to look after you.
