The next NAV CAMP will be conducted over 8 to 10 April 2017 in the Lithgow region.
Over the three days we will focus on foundation navigation skills for off track navigation, orienteering and rogaining. Whether you are looking to learn new skills for Duke of Edinburgh, Scouts, Guides, the Hillary Challenge, adventure racing or keen to sneak in some orienteering training in preparation for moderate level courses, this weekend will offer skill development and practice opportunities.

We have a team of experienced and friendly coaches lined up and they are ready to help you progress your nav skills.

Who is the Camp For?
High School students keen to learn and improve their off-track navigation and orienteering skills. No off-track experience is required, just an eager spirit willing to give things a try. Students with experience are also very welcome to come along to consolidate and brush up on skills or sneak in some practice.

We will meet up at 11am in the Lithgow region on Saturday 8 April 2017. Camp will conclude after lunch on Monday 10 April. This is the first weekend of the NSW school holidays.
Accommodation will be at Maranatha Campsite, Lidsdale in dormitory style accommodation. Campers should bring along a sleeping bag and pillow.

Participants should make their own transport arrangements to camp. Once at camp, car sharing will be used for transport. If campers would like a lift or a ride from Lithgow train station and do not know anyone driving please let us know as we may be able to help coordinate transportation to and from camp.

What should I bring?
A sense of adventure and good humour!
Comfortable clothes for three days of exercise including leg cover for all off track training please (track suit bottoms or running tights are fine).
Compass and plastic whistle.

A comfortable change of clothes for leisure time.
PJs and toiletries.
Sleeping bag and pillow.
