Venue - Cumberland State Forest, West Pennant Hills.
The Saturday Orienteering Series is open to everyone! No experience is necessary and courses are ideal for students wishing to learn and improve their navigation skills. Both beginners and experienced orienteers are very welcome. Students, mums, dads, uncles, aunts, friends, grandparents: all ages can run or walk and enjoy the SOS.
At most events, 3 different courses are available to choose between. These is a score course, a short line course (approx 2.5-3km) and a long line course (approx 4-5km). Registration is from 9am and starts are any time between 9.30am and 11am. We encourage those heading out on the score course to start as a group at 9.30am but later starts are also welcome.
Enter at the event or buy a term pass from the link on the Bold Horizons website. Entry costs are $10 for members with their own SPORTident sticks or $15 for non-members or those hiring SI sticks. Exact money is appreciated please or pay with Tap N Go.
If groups of more than 5 are attending we would be grateful if you contact Barbara in advance so that we can be sure to look after you.
