The terrain is predominantly open eucalypt forest with rolling spur gully, and areas of detailed gold mining, steep rocky gullies, and rock detail.

Venue: Ophir South

From Bathurst, drive towards Orange, taking the Northern Distributor road to the right, prior to entering Orange itself. Turn right at the round about onto Ophir Rd and take the right hand turn into Banjo Patterson Way. Travel time about 1 hr.

From Orange, drive north on Ophir Rd, take the right hand turn onto Banjo Patterson Way. Travel time about 30mins.
