Event information: Log Hut Gully

Export to calendar Back

In the lovely rolling hills west of Tumby Bay, the Log Hut Gully map offers diverse eucalypt and broombush forest and fast open pastures on broad spur-gully terrain. Watercourses and fences, as well as a network of tracks, make it user-friendly for all ages, levels of skill and experience. Available for participants are six courses: hard courses of 5.2km, 4.0km and 3.2km, a moderate of 4.5km, an easy of 2.8km and a streamer course of 1.3km.
To get there, turn off Lincoln Highway 2km north of Tumby Bay silos, where there will be Orienteering signs directing you to follow Mine Hill Road, then Dray Pole Hill Road, until a signed turnoff will lead you to the assembly area.
