Growing Orienteering Forum
Nillumbik Emus is hosting a forum on developing our sport and our clubs; reaching out to the broader community.
We are inviting all clubs to attend this useful event. Vicsport's Tom Dixon will be providing free professional advice tailored for orienteering.
Proposed topics for discussion:
• How we engage with less active people
• Innovative approaches to program design
• Pathways which allow everyone to participate for longer
• The crucial role coaches play in the participant experience
In partnership with VicHealth, Vicsport is offering tailored advice to help your sport grow. Over the past five years, VicHealth has partnered with SSAs, RSAs and clubs to provide more opportunities for all Victorians to get active. As a result we have worked with VicHealth to identify insights relevant to every sport about.
Sessions run by Tom Dixon Participation Strategy Manager, Vicsport.
30 May 2019, 7-10pm, Westerfolds Park ORC Meeting Room
Supper will be provided.
