Orienteering SA is offering a special series of three after-school training sessions in Term 3, to be held at 3.45-5pm on Fridays after-school at nearby Mitcham Hills parks.
These sessions culminate in the SA School Relay Championships to be held on Friday, September 13th.
Parents will be required to arrange transport. Parental supervision is encouraged, and is mandatory for children under 12.
Meet: Apex Park, Watahuna Ave, Hawthorndene.
Cost: $5 per person. Free for students from member schools.
No special equipment needed. Just casual clothes and shoes, we supply everything else. There will be beginners courses at every event.
You can come to all events, or just turn up when it suits you. However, pre-registration is encouraged to ensure we print enough maps for everyone.
Invite your friends! Parents, siblings and teachers are also welcome to join in.
Please contact the Event Coordinator, Zita Sankauskas, at zitaruta1@gmail.com or 0409 339 430 if you have any questions or wish to register for the programme. It would be appreciated if you let me know you are coming at least 24 hours before event (or earlier if bringing a large group).
