'Brush Farm'
Location: Guide Hall, Brush Road (opp Warrawong St), West Ryde.

Breaking News: During tonight's event the battery died in one of the control units. Results will be adjusted manually. This will unfortunately delay the publication of results. We hope you enjoyed the course and avoided the worst of the hills.

To maintain the variety, following the recent coastal events, we head to West Ryde. Enjoy planning how to include the escarpment only once on your route and maximising points from the occasional bush. As this is the fifth SSS you should be in peak condition to handle the challenges.

The Sydney Summer Series is also known as Sydney Map Running and challenges participants to navigate on the run (imagine running AND thinking!). It is the best summer orienteering in Sydney utilising the city’s parks, history, beaches, harbour and bush. All are on show in the even more action packed 29th Sydney Summer Series.

This is a 45 minute score event with a map scale of 1:10,000. Starts are from 4:30pm until 6:45pm but earlier starts are possible if set up has completed. The area is unfortunately not suitable for a Mini course.

Pre-entry is available and this could be your last chance to save with the SSS Season Ticket at https://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Events/Show/8935
