Orienteering Australia

Event information: South Australian Interclub Relays @Coromandel Valley Primary

Export to calendar Back

All orienteers are invited to come out and run a couple of fun sprint courses at the club relays hosted by the Southern Arrows, South Australia’s elite orienteering squad. Assembly is at Coromandel Valley Primary School and the longer courses will take in Frank Smith Park and Blackwood Forest.

All you have to do is to form teams of 2 – only one member of the team has to be a current financial member of your club - and let your club secretary know who you want to run with. Entries and payment are taken through club secretaries, before October 14th.

As per previous years, we have removed any age limits and the choices are simply: men’s, women’s and mixed age classes on 4 different courses, which are approximately:
• 5.5km hard (split into 2 x 2.7km)
• 4.5km moderate/hard (split into 2 x 2.3km)
• 3.5km moderate (split into 2 x 1.7km)
• 2km easy – each person runs once only

Limited enter on the day options are available, but non-members may form unofficial teams in advance of the Oct 14th deadline.

For further information see the attached flyer. Final instructions will be available here, approx Thurs 17th October.
