SPRINT #2 - ENJOY THE BEST SHORT COURSE MAPS.
The Sydney Sprint season features great short courses on the best sprint maps. This week we explore the bush and tracks of Excelsior and Saw Mill Creeks. The map scale is 1:3000 with 2.5m contours drawn to sprint standards. Great summer orienteering using one of the best areas in the Hills area. Finish off your weekend with the challenge of navigating while running at speed.

The Sprint Series is held on Sunday evenings with STARTS FROM 5PM TO 6PM. COURSE CLOSURE IS AT 6:30PM. The Sydney Sprint Series provides a choice of three line courses suitable for all ages and skill levels. SI Air will be activated.

The three line course lengths are up to 2kms with easy navigation, 2.5 to 3kms with moderate level navigation and 3.5 to 4kms with hard navigation. You can choose your course at each event.

Orienteering Club Members - Seniors $12, Juniors $8, Families $32.
Casual Registrations (Non-members) - Seniors $20, Juniors $10, Families in a group pay $20. Families of 3 or more participating individually pay for only 3 family members. All casual rates include SI stick hire. Groups $20 includes SI stick hire and two maps. Scouts and Guides $5 each in teams of 2 to 4. Extra maps $2, SI Hire $4.

First-timers are most welcome. Experienced orienteers will be available to provide instructions. All runners, joggers and walkers are welcome.
