COVID-19 compliance:

PLEASE NOTE NO EOD OR COURSE CHANGES ON THE DAY

Numbers for events will comply with Government guidelines and initial events will be restricted to 100 people.
In order to keep our caravan operators safe, maximise social distancing, track attendees and control numbers, all events will be pre-entry through Eventor and prepaid through Eventor / Paypal.
You will need to enter before midnight on Thursday before the event, but we will not be allocating any set start times.
No water will be provided at events or on the courses. Therefore, you must bring your own water and consider if you need to carry water with you on the course. We’re letting you know now so you have time to consider if you need a new Camelbak backpack or water bottle belt.
Prepaid cards will not be accepted for pre-entry events.
Post-event picnic gatherings will be permitted provided social distancing is maintained but there will be no cake stall or communal food of any kind.
Please follow all Government guidelines for social distancing and do not come to an event if you are feeling unwell. Refunds will be available if you cannot get to the event, be it because you are feeling unwell or just don't like the weather. However, please be fair and do not take a spot if you have no intention of attending.
Members, please check that your contact details including phone number are correct in your account on Eventor.
All OWA members have an account in Eventor.
Casual members must set up an account in Eventor in order to pre-enter events - there is no need to pay for membership but please register as a WA Casual (so select the first option when you register in Eventor). You will then be charged the non-member rates for events but registering as a Casual assists us with admin.
There are guides on the website or another member could help you. If you have any problems, contact our Business Manager, Emma, via email at orienteeringwa@gmail.com.
The event calendar will have to be flexible due to access and permissions. Please get into the habit of checking Eventor as this will be the source of truth. If numbers are restricted to 100 people we won’t be promoting events on Facebook.
We acknowledge that pre-entry requires everyone to be more organised, but we consider this is the best means of making our events COVID-safe and enabling us to restart our events.

As this is a State Orienteering League (SOL) event, if you wish to score points towards the SOL series, you will need to run at least the minimum course for your age. Refer to the attached documents for SOL rules and minimum age requirements.

Entry fees:
Adult concessions are obtained by selecting the appropriate Service which will reduce the fee (there are no concessions for Juniors)
Group entries - the lead adult should enter and pay, and then advise the organiser who are in the group (names and ages) - maximimum of 5.
Family maximum - enter all the family members in one transaction and the system will calculate the maximum fee.

Start times from 9.30am – 11.30am. Courses close at 1pm sharp. Please return to the assembly area by 1pm even if you have not completed your course.

Directions: From the Brookton Hwy, turn into Westdale Road and follow it 8km to the junction with Luptons Road, turn south and follow the signs to the parking area (approx 5km from Westdale Rd). Please close all gates behind you through the farm property as there may be livestock roaming.
