Each class can be restricted by age ranges. There should be no minimum age on M/W21 ie a 17 yr old should be able to run/ride in that class.

If you are setting up an event you can edit the min/max ages for each class.

How do I ensure a 'youth' gets visability of higher age classes that he may want to 'ride-up' in e.g M21 i.e. does his year of birth restrict visability of classes to only those ones he eligible for?

the names with the "i" icon next to them show the entrants that are not attending all events. Hover over the "i" to see which events they are entered in.

the few names I recognise in the list all do MTBO as well as the Foot-O. There are totally differnt names in the Men A class of the Foot-O event .

Payments are defined at the event level and different events can have different payment details. It would be extremely difficult to manage multiple payments to multiple accounts.

In the instance of carnivals (Easter, Aus Champs) it would be recommended to have a single payment account even if multiple clubs are organising separate days. This is what has occured for Easter 2013.

If you are refering to issues within a single carnival (such as Easter) then it really comes down tot he process of making the entry. We will be adding some more help options in the near future to guide people through the process of making multiple entries to an event.

  • Craig Feuerherdt

  • Craig Feuerherdt

Eventor is specifically about membership, entries & results. At present Eventor does not expose details to users ie find a club and show me the contact details (unless you have administrative permission). This feature request is relevant if there was additional functionality added to Eventor ie be able to click on/hover over club names in event lists etc and then see facebook/web site details.

This is currently outside the current budget and would require more funds. It should be set up generically so any club can add multiple "services" ie twitter, facebook, flickr etc

this is also applicable to http://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Forum/Thread/12 (facebook)

  • Craig Feuerherdt

Each event can have additional information added (under "general settings") which could include things such as refund policy, event cancellation policy etc.

Agree it would be good to provide the option to "copy" this information from a previous event or by providing an option to select from a list of standard clauses which are applicable to the event. Something to add on the wish-list.

  • Craig Steffens
    Sunday 2 December 2012 at 14:12 EDT

  • Craig Feuerherdt
    Sunday 2 December 2012 at 14:06 EDT

I have corrected the name of hte existing mis-named club in Eventor and added you as administrator. I inserted some temporary contact details for the club which I suggest you update :)

The club you created will be deleted as it isn't appropriately assigned within OA/OQLD.

  • Craig Feuerherdt
    Sunday 2 December 2012 at 14:03 EDT

It is possible for you to specify those classes at the Orienteering QLD level (you will need to be an O QLD administrator to do that). If they are created at the OQ level then they will be accessible to all clubs.

Alternatively event-specific classes can be created by an event organiser when creating an event.

When viewing an event, the link to show entrant's in my class (3) produces a list of all in my class for the whole carnival, including foot-O entrants, not just the specific MTBO event.

    Phillippa,

If you go to the event page through the calendar you can see a list of entrants usin gthe link on the right hand side. This will take you to http://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Events/Entries?eventId=1&groupBy=EventClass.

Note there are two "events" for the C5D in Eventor and so you will also have to check http://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Events/Entries?eventId=19&groupBy=EventClass to see the people who entered all 5 days.

I believe David Jaffee has responded Ruth. There is no issue with you and David using the same email address.

This highlights the importance of providing some training in how to enter multiple people in an event - something we are working on.

I gather there are over 350 entered for Christmas 5 Days.  is it possible to see who else has entered? Philippa

  • Ruth Goddard
    Wednesday 28 November 2012 at 16:51 EDT

I entered myself for Easter and paid.  Then I tried to enter David who has the same username email.  Eventor won't take his password.

I realise that I should have entered us both before going off to pay.

I know someone else with the same problem!
